BCD Group is an award-winning NZ owned and operated consultancy that has been going strong since 2010. Born out of Hamilton, over the last 11 years we have expanded our footprint to include Tauranga, New Plymouth, Auckland and Napier and now have over 110 people as part of our team.

We specialise in providing Structural, Civil, Fire and Geotechnical engineering, consulting services alongside our Planning, Survey and Energy teams to a wide range of private and public sector clients throughout New Zealand.  We have many talented individuals in the team, we are passionate about what we do, and we aim to develop well-rounded property professionals.

Very early days we learnt the value of bringing emerging talent into our organisation as part of a Graduate program and are committed to this approach to help grow professionals within our industry and our business.

As a Graduate with BCD, we are all about supporting your professional growth, we have had great success over the years by bringing graduates into the business and focusing on developing them with our experienced mentors. The feedback we receive time and time again from our Graduates is the interesting and challenging work you are exposed to from day one means you are growing as soon as you step foot in the door.

Part of what makes BCD special is our culture. We’re a fun, fast-paced and solutions-focused company that likes to encourage people to think for themselves. Our people are our greatest asset, we have many talented individuals in the team who are keen to share their knowledge and get together on a social level, staying active is important to us.

We are a passionate bunch of people committed to delivering outstanding results for our clients. And we are looking for Graduates now across all of our disciplines. If this sounds like the place you’d like to start your professional career, get in touch and let us know why you think you’d be a great fit for BCD.

Graduate Success Stories

  • Graduate stories
To me what I love most about my job is when I have a problem, and work to find a couple of solutions and provide a good mini presentation to the reviewer/mentor/superior about what I think is correct.

Josh Buckley

  • Graduate stories
I really enjoy stepping outside of my area of expertise and learning about what other disciplines do (for example surveying or fire engineering). The more I learn about other areas, the better I am at seeing a project as a whole product rather than just my civil design elements.
