What You’ll Achieve

The Electrical Clean Sheet Sr. Analyst role is responsible for supporting the organization in managing and operating electrical cost models to help achieve best-in-class costs. An individual should have a solid understanding of electrical components such as ICs, MOSFETs, resistors, capacitors, crystals, etc., and their cost drivers. With guidance, the individual should be able to build, maintain and enhance the cost models and present findings in an easy way to stakeholders and executives.

You will

• Develop, maintain and run cost models for electrical components and assembly with guidance
• Continuous improvement of electrical/electronic cost database with latest quotes from suppliers
• Work cross-functionally to socialize cost model output and recommend DFM (Design for Manufacturing), DFA (Design for Assembly), and DTC (Design to Cost)
• Act as an effective team member, quick learner, and exhibit good interpersonal skills
• Provide timely communications to leadership on significant issues or developments
• Prepare material for leadership reviews as required
• Support negotiations and ensure cost gaps between should cost and supplier quotes are closed. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify opportunities to drive improvements

Essential Requirements

• BS/Diploma with 2+ years of relevant experience
• Proficient in the understanding of electrical components such as ICs, Mosfets, resistors, capacitors, crystals, etc. and their cost drivers
• Good know-how of raw material market trends and key supplier connections. Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, MS Project, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Candidates with experience on the shop floor will be given preference
• Experience with an electrical schematic design using techniques such as DFM (Design for Manufacturing), DFT (Design for Testing), and DTC (Design to Cost) will be preferred

Desirable Requirements

• Experience in cost negotiation with external partners, suppliers
• Proven expertise in leadership level stories and presentations
