Your role

Sanofi is seeking a student to contribute to the overall achievement of its digital transformation and the organization's performance. The student will work collaboratively across various Industrial Affairs functions, including automation of manual ERP transactions and implementation of "time-saving" digital initiatives across Production, Supply Chain, and Finance. The student will help refine legacy processes and bring a lean methodology to a relatively untapped digital space.

Your priorities in this role will include:

• Deep dive manual interactions in site digital architecture 
• Propose and implement time-saving improvements to manual interactions by creating algorithms in Python or an equivalent programming language
• Propose and implement a digital planning tool 
• Investigate opportunities to mine data directly from 3rd party applications
• Manage Analytical requests
• Co-operate with other business and support functions to analyse business needs
• Prepare internal presentations of project progress to business stakeholders

Training & development

The Sanofi Internship Program is a 2-month program that offers you the opportunity to gain real-world experience, develop your skills, and prepare for your entry into the corporate world. About you

This role would be ideal for a student looking to develop entry-level skills for a career in Business & Data Analytics and Programming. The student must be able to commit to working at least 2 days a week at Sanofi's offices in Virginia, Brisbane.

Requirements:

• You must be currently in your penultimate year of an Undergraduate degree studying in the areas of Business Analytics, Digital Business, Information Systems or similar
• Proficiency with MS Office and commonly used productivity tools
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or equivalent
• Able to identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes
• Self-directed once project goals and tasks are set
• Highly organised and with strong attention to detail
• Time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload efficiently
• Good communication skills: visual, written and verbal in interpreting to non-technical audiences
• Strong team orientation with a willingness and preparedness to share and seek information, knowledge, help and support others in the team.
• Enthusiastic and energetic
• Knowledge of the Digital/IT landscape is not essential but would be desirable
