Your role

Worley is seeking engineering undergraduates in their penultimate year of study to participate in their paid 12-week summer internship program. The program runs from November 2024 to February 2025 and focuses on Asset Integrity Solutions within Worley's consultancy area.

Interns will gain experience working on various projects, including asset management consulting, maintenance reliability and integrity engineering, and asset repurposing and transformation initiatives that support the energy transition.

As part of the Worley Graduate Community, interns will receive supervision and mentorship from experienced staff within the Asset Integrity Solutions engineering department. This role offers valuable hands-on experience in delivering engineering services for both Worley and its clients.

What you’ll do:

• Participate in the delivery of Asset Integrity Solutions engineering consulting services that meet Worley', its customers and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget
• Assist in performing Asset Integrity Solutions engineering consulting services such as contributing to appropriate studies, analyses and recommend actions, and assisting with the preparation of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations and reports
• Communicate effectively with the Asset Integrity Solutions engineering consultancy team and project stakeholders

About you

What you’ll bring:

To be considered for this role you will need to be undertaking a recognized, relevant engineering degree or equivalent that will lead to registration as a professional Engineer and be in your penultimate year of study.

Requirements:

• Some knowledge of technical and practical Asset Integrity Solutions engineering skills
• Some knowledge of the fundamental requirements of Asset Integrity Solutions engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields
• Developing skills in Asset Integrity Solutions engineering-specific software
• Competent in the use of relevant software such as MS Office
